Training
NPs must complete a graduate-level program with supervised clinical experience. Independent NP practice (“103 NPs” and later “104 NPs”) requires 4,600 supervised hours in California.
Licensure CME & Renewal
30 CE hours every 2 years for RN license renewal. NP certification does not expire, but practice must remain aligned with BRN regulations.
